Data security on hard disk, a problem that should not be neglected

Pay attention to problems below when process data:

1.  After FAT or FAT 32 system is deleted or formatted, the big files or files that are usually modified have lower recovery success rate. This is because FAT and FAT32 use file allocation table to record cluster information for every file, after deletion or formatting, the file information is emptied. Since the length of the files that are usually modified is dynamically increased, the files are not continuously stored. Therefore, file fragment information can’t be recovered, and it will not be complete even after recovery. For this situation, we should pay attention to back up big files and frequently-used files.
2.  Use NTFS file system, because the recovery rate of NTFS is higher. In general, after deleting or formatting, most of the data can be completely recovered. But you should also pay attention to perform defragmentation, it can also improve data recovery rate.
3.  The files that are deleted into recycle bin can’t be found sometimes. Under NTFS, the names of files deleted into recycle bin will be modified as different ones, such as De001.Doc, and the original name will be damaged. After your data gets lost and you can’t directly find file name. Remember to view the modified files. You can directly use “Shift + Del” to delete files without damage files names.
4. The most important thing is to choose a piece of excellent data recovery software.
