How to recover lost pics on sd card

If the SD card can be recognized by computer and the lost photos are not overwritten, we can recover photos from SD card easily. Therefore, it is important that we should never store new photos to the SD card after photo loss problem happens.

We need a card reader to connect the SD card to a computer and corresponding photo recovery software should be used. If you are Windows users, MiniTool Power Data Recovery is suggested; and if you are using Mac, MiniTool Mac Data Recovery should be used. But the operations are similarly simple. After connect your SD card to Windows, launch the photo recovery software. And we'll see its starting interface, as follows.

We can use "Digital Media Recovery" module to recover lost photos, no matter they are deleted or formatted. So click the module and we'll see the following window.

Select your SD card in this window and click "Full Scan" to scan it. Then we'll see all lost photos after the process is finished (time taken varies according to size of your SD card, so please wait patiently. ).

All lost photos are shown in this window. Please find and check the ones that you would like to recover and click "Save Files" to store them to the computer. You can not store them to your SD card directly because it will influence the recovery effect.
